Abstract Layers of Magic, Online Painting Workshop Series

The NEW 4-week online workshop series starts on September 14th

From 11 am - 1.30 pm PST.

In this workshop, we go deeper into creating rich, expressive abstract layers, expanding on the  techniques I teach in the first class of my other painting series.

Through texture, pattern, and mark-making, we explore the magic that unfolds when we allow the process to lead us. We'll experiment with composition and contrast, layering opaque and translucent colors, and playing with positive and negative space and more.

You’re welcome to create purely abstract pieces or incorporate visual characters if they emerge.

Materials include art paper, acrylic paints, charcoal, paint pens, stencils, and collage elements.

This is a space to follow your curiosity, honor your unique expression, and let the layers tell your story.

No prior painting experience is necessary.

The class is limited to 12 participants.

Once you register by purchasing the class you'll get a downloadable PDF with a list of materials and the Zoom link.

For every online painting series, my intention is to create a community and safe space where we can explore our creativity together. This is a reason why all the painters are asked to keep their Zoom cameras on during the class.

If you happen to miss one I will send you a recording that is available for viewing for up to two weeks.

Cancelation Policy:

Any cancelations fourteen days prior to the start of the workshop will be refunded minus a $20 cancelation fee. Cancelations later than fourteen days will receive credit for future painting workshops of the same or lesser value.
